Oladipupo Wintoki Dipo Wintoki is an astute investment banker and project turnaround specialist with eighteen years of experience spanning Corporate Finance (debt and equity), Project Finance, Deal Structuring, Financial Advisory, Infrastructure Advisory, Corporate/Public sector Strategy articulation, development and planning, Corporate Restructuring, Business Performance improvement, Process Re-engineering and Public Sector Advisory.

He has a background in Civil and Environmental Engineering and is a recently certified expert in Sustainable Finance. He has experience in Energy Financing in Africa, where he spent years on various projects in the energy sector in Nigeria. Dipo's experience has allowed him to become an expert in energy financing and he has built innovative financing structures for the energy industry throughout his career especially for the Cleaner Lagos Initiative in 2017, which helped clear drains, reduce pollution, and create better waste management. This project was led by Dipo and raised $18 million in financing.

He is highly skilled in Corporate Finance, Project Infrastructure Finance and Public Private Partnerships Advisory, Strategic & Economic Advisory for corporate and public sector with strong leadership and managerial competencies. While engaged in Management Consulting, he spearheaded various Organisation Design and Optimisation, Corporate Restructuring and Transformation, Business Process Improvement, Budgeting and Financial Management for various public and private institutions. His foray into project structuring, advisory and capital raise has led to over 32 states in the Nigeria, where he has successfully helped state governments deliver their mandates via dedicated and well-structured project advisory and capital raise transactions led by Dipo Wintoki.

In addition, he has led teams to initiate, conceptualise and execute some of the most celebrated PPP and concessionaire arrangements in Nigeria. In his capacity as Director of Government Relations & Advisory Group at BGL Capital, Dipo was fully responsible for managing the delicate relationship with key government agencies/ regulators/ as well as overall execution of business and financial advisory mandates within the public sector space. Following his excellent performance at BGL, he carried out same responsibilities at FBN Capital, as Vice President in charge of the origination and client coverage group focused majorly on Public sector financing.

His technical competencies cover a wide range of sectors including but not limited to Trade and Investment, Energy, Infrastructure, Industrials, Financial Institutions, Real Estate & Hospitality. Dipo is an alumnus of the prestigious King’s College Lagos, with a Bachelor of Science degreein civil engineering from the University of Lagos, a Masters in Finance from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom and Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of London, United Kingdom. He is a member of the Institute of Financial Consultants (IFC), Canada – Chartered Financial Consultant.
