Finance Professional with significant experience in capital markets, investment banking, asset & wealth management sectors covering product and risk control, project management, business analysis, operational risk, operational resilience, target operating model design and implementation. Extensive experience of business and regulatory change (e.g., MiFID II, Basle III, EMIR, ILAS, MAD/MAR, AML, SFTR, Brexit) at leading financial institutions.
A qualified chartered accountant and member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers with entrepreneurial experience including raising venture capital (£750k for 15% stake our business) to build a web-based price discovery platform for FX and Money Market products; turnaround of a financial services software house (£10m revenues, 300 customers, 150 staff), where trading was stabilised, two acquisitions made and business subsequently sold; launch of a magazine publisher.
